Last week I got to see the Pixies live in Greensboro at War Memorial Auditorium. The crowd wasn’t overwhelming, but definitely the floor seating was full. There was an orchestra pit for those willing to pay near or above $200 per ticket (I like Pixies, but not enough to lose my hearing and pay a shit ton of money for!).
In 2005 I went to Charlottesville to see the Pixies, and it was General Admission… Gotta say, that makes for a MUCH better show. Everyone stood up the whole show here in Greensboro, but it was a whole lot more stilted than the General Admission show.
I bought a T-Shirt. Of course. I’ll post that pic when I have one of me wearing it. =)
